MARGERY MOORE, CHIEF EXECUTIVE OFFICER
Margery is always at the forefront of breakthrough technologies that can solve the most critical challenges in the environmental, health and safety (EHS) industry. She is CEO of ehsAI, an AI company that automates EHS compliance. Before starting ehsAI Margery led other EHS start-ups as well as designed and developed multiple EHS commercial products during her 16 year tenure at Bloomberg. She has a BSc. and Masters in Environmental Data Management, is an active participant in the National Association of Environmental Managers (NAEM), on the Board of National Observer, and in her spare time mentors women in tech and is President of the Salt Spring Institute for Sustainability Education & Action (I-SEA), an environmental charity in her hometown, founded 18 years ago.
MAHDI RAMEZANI, CHIEF TECHNICAL OFFICER
Mahdi is a technical leader, strategy developer and program manager in the area of artificial intelligence with over 10 years of experience. He is Creative Destruction Lab (CDL) investigator, responsible for bringing domain expertise and credibility to the program at various levels of the professional AI community.
Before joining ehsAI, Mahdi was the Director of Core Research and Development at Motion Metrics International Corp, where he led product development within a cross-functional team of AI researchers, software developers, and hardware engineers. Mahdi did his Ph.D. at the University of British Columbia, where his research focus was machine learning, medical image analysis, and computer-assisted surgery.
MATTHEW SUTTON, SVP CORPORATE DEVELOPMENT
Matthew Sutton has 30 years of global executive leadership experience at the intersection of energy, environment and economic development. His focus is on leadership in environmental sustainability, global energy transitions, climate adaptation and leveraging artificial intelligence to safeguard natural and human engineered systems.
He has channeled his lifelong passion for resolving environmental challenges into chief executive stewardship of influential multi-billion dollar global environmental businesses and leadership of more than 15,000 professionals delivering comprehensive environmental solutions and services around the world. Matthew has served as the President, Chief Executive and Executive VP for the world’s top environmental and consulting and engineering organizations (CH2M, AECOM, ARCADIS).
LEE CARNEY, CHIEF OPERATING OFFICER
Lee is a serial entrepreneur and seasoned technology executive. After earning a Bachelors degree from Western University, Lee led start-up teams tackling problems as diverse as automating the conversion of character mode interfaces to GUIs, a mobile payment gateway, and software to increase the retention rates of online courses offered by global universities. He has held several executive positions in Sales, Marketing and Project Management working with enterprise customers around the world.
MARCEL GUEVARA, VP ENVIRONMENTAL HEALTH AND SAFETY
An EHS professional with more than 25 years of experience leading organizations to achieve excellent EHS performance. Marcel brings to ehsAI operations experience on all aspects of EHS management including design and development of compliance and management systems, audit programs and ensuring a cycle of continuous improvements. With experience in multiple jurisdiction in the Americas, Europe and Africa; as well as in the oil and gas, mining, construction and manufacturing industries. Marcel’s experience has been fundamental to identify the challenges that EHS professionals are facing in their day to day work, in order to develop AI advanced solutions to facilitate and improve their work and performance.
